Francolin Seed Engineered to Resist UG99 Fungus

So are we to benefit yet from another GMO that is currently introduced in Bangladesh and will eventually find its way into the regimen of seeds farmers will become dependent on to plant their crops?  The USAID assisted in the development of the seeds resistant to stem fungus and will increase wheat production.  While this is seen as value added to farming around the world what are the long-term impacts of such GMO seeds?
